We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join Our Team in Wellingborough.

We are a family owned bakery producing products for well known brands on the high street. We are a fast growing, fast paced business looking for the right team member to help us grow further.

The role requires an individual who has a keen eye for detail and can work with accuracy and precision. In a typical working week, you will carry out a variety of different tasks including, Picking & Packing, Receiving Goods and Loading deliveries, this list is not exhaustive.

Main Responsibilities - Reporting to the Warehouse Manager

- Accurately & efficiently pick the required ingredients for production.

- Ensure that all items are secure and correct before being transferred to the factory.

- Receiving & recording deliveries of stock.

- Loading and unloading vehicles using the forklift if trained to do so.

- Keeping the Warehouse and work areas clean and tidy.

- Entering data into our current computer system, training will be provided

- Assisting with stock take.

- Adhering to the company Health & Safety policy

As with all roles, your responsibilities may change over time depending on the needs of the business and being flexible is key.

The role of Warehouse Operative is a demanding role that requires lifting and moving heavy items throughout the day, covering a large warehouse on foot – several miles can be walked each day, so it is important that you can meet the physical demands that the role requires.
