VP of Asset Management (Remote)

About the position This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vice President of Asset Management - REMOTE. This role plays a critical part in aligning investment objectives with operational execution, ensuring that the multifamily asset portfolio not only performs financially but also maintains long-term value. The Vice President will spearhead both quantitative and qualitative analyses, guiding strategic initiatives at the property and portfolio level. Furthermore, this individual will oversee institutional reporting and act as a vital liaison between internal leadership and external investment partners, driving asset-related initiatives that maximize property value. Responsibilities • Lead the creation of asset management reports incorporating market commentary and asset performance insights. • Develop comprehensive quantitative KPI reports focused on property-level metrics such as leasing trends and operating performance. • Provide qualitative analyses regarding property team effectiveness, marketing strategies, and capital improvements. • Execute reporting requirements for institutional investors, addressing inquiries and discrepancies proactively. • Present insights to the Investment Committee and respond to stakeholder inquiries. • Optimize underwriting assumptions and assist in developing strategic business plans for new investments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align investment objectives with property operations. • Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the entire portfolio. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field required; MBA preferred. • Minimum of five years experience as an Asset Manager in multifamily real estate. • Experience working with multifamily ownership groups as an Asset Manager or leader. • Proven track record with institutional investors, including monthly and quarterly reporting. • Experience leading investor updates and presenting to institutional groups. • Background in fund or portfolio level analysis. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
