Verizon Sales Lead for Telecom (Remote or Hybrid)

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Lead to oversee and grow the revenue, profitability and relationships with Verizon, one of our most valuable telecommunications clients. This role is responsible for understanding Verizon’s business objectives, aligning them with our solutions, and driving long-term partnership success. The ideal candidate will combine deep telecom industry knowledge with exceptional relationship management and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Verizon account, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue growth, profitability growth, retention, and expansion goals.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new telecommunications solutions incorporating energy storage, power conversion, enclosures and services that solve Verizon’s biggest problems and challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management, operations, finance, legal) to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor account performance, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategy.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in alignment with company policies.
  • Lead Quarterly business reviews and performance reports to clients and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of account and territory management experience in the Communications industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets.
  • Strong understanding of communications products, services, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively (approximately 40–50% of the time) to meet business and customer needs
  • If you live within a 50 mile radius of an EnerSys office, it is expected that you will be in office Tuesday through Thursday.
  • This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
