Training & Education Consultants utilize their experience, knowledge, and skills to implement key components of the Readiness & Education strategy. They participate in Readiness product core teams and oversee all aspects of training and education. Their day-to-day activities include developing product training curricula, delivering virtual synchronous training across multiple time zones, conducting onsite in-person classroom training, and identifying and implementing continuous education improvements.</span></p><p></p><p><span>The Training and Education Consultant will exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the MMS supported products and programs, including their workflows and impacts. This role is dedicated to ensuring that all product training and education adhere to industry standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and effectively address business and customer needs. This is achieved through meaningful training application, resulting in competently prepared associates and customers. Additionally, the role focuses on continuously improving curricula to enhance the knowledge growth of our associates and customers. </span></p><p></p><p><b>Remote with travel requirements</b></p><p></p><p><span><b>The primary focus of this role will be on Pyxis Med products/solutions (</b></span><span><b>PharmacyKeeper) for Solution Deployment Services and Customer, with support extended to all other MMS solutions as needed.</b></span></p><p></p><p><b><i><u>Accountabilities</u></i></b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with SDS Readiness & Education team members to provide subject-matter expertise and guide the creation of educational materials and curricula plans.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned MMS products, processes, and services.</li><li>Actively engage in readiness activities for upcoming releases of assigned products, processes, and services.</li><li>Use workflow assessments, optimization engagements, and change leadership principles to enhance product adoption and utilization.</li><li>Work effectively across diverse teams, cultures, and time zones.</li><li>Integrate the voice of the customer (VOC) and voice of the associate (VOA) to ensure satisfaction and continuous program improvement.</li><li>Evaluate the workflow impact of new product releases and convert information into educational materials.</li><li>Lead and facilitate in-person or virtual training sessions for customers and associates on assigned products, services, and processes.</li><li>Apply various training methodologies and adult learning principles to deliver engaging training.</li><li>Develop instructor-led course materials, including instructor guides, student guides, PowerPoint slides, assessments, and other relevant materials.</li><li>Utilize technology and tools to enhance instruction.</li><li>Conduct course needs assessments and evaluations to drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Ensure training schedules, tools, and environments are up-to-date to facilitate effective and efficient training delivery.</li><li>Demonstrate expertise in the field of education/learning and stay current with the latest tools, techniques, and best practices.</li><li>Manage registration and credit for completion of instructor-led courses in customer and associate learning management systems (LMS).</li></ul><p></p><p><b><i><u>Qualifications</u></i></b></p><ul><li>Ability to work independently from a home office and maintain a professional online presence.</li><li>Home-based position with travel requirements ranging from 50-75%, including overnight travel. Flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends, are necessary.</li></ul><p></p><p><i><b><u>Required</u></b></i></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.</li><li>Expereince with Pyxis PharmacyKeeper or a similar IV preparation solution.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years experience in pharmacy IV preparation and healthcare technology or a related field</li><li>Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old to meet BD’s auto safety standards.</li><li>Upon hire, must provide proof of and maintain current immunizations, and obtain additional immunizations as required for access to customer sites. Required immunizations include Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chickenpox), Annual TB/PPD (skin test), and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b><u>Preferred</u></b></i></p><ul><li>Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician preferred.</li><li>Experience training participants from diverse backgrounds, including technical, clinical, and biomedical fields.</li><li>Knowledgeable in the effective application of adult learning principles.</li><li>Ability to understand and explain highly technical content to multiple audience <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">backgrounds/experiences.</span></li><li>Capability to expand expertise to BD products and solutions beyond current knowledge base.</li><li>Strong decision-making and time management skills to meet leadership-set deliverables.</li><li>Experience in developing and delivering training programs, educational materials, and online tools is desirable.</li></ul><p></p><p>At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
