Summary

This position allows the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) the opportunity to manage a territory and improve sales performance and store execution standards. It is the TSM’s responsibility to work with our clients (Best Buy, Mobile Shop, Glentel, Apple, Staples, OSL and Jump Plus) to determine the store’s strengths and opportunities and to provide a total solution leading to an increase in store profitability.

The TSM’s focus will be on:

  • Maintaining high in-store execution standards
  • Training and educating all store personnel on Bell, Virgin Mobile and Lucky Mobile products and selling solutions
  • Realizing and achieving targets for postpaid, prepaid and residential services (BRS).
  • Identifying local store and territory sales opportunities
  • Working with the store manager and reporting to Regional Sales Manager to improve wireless and BRS performance

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by presenting customized solutions to our clients
  • Assume responsibility for product knowledge, service and campaign/promotional offerings, and competitive knowledge
  • Actively participate in training and coaching initiatives
  • Act with a sense of urgency to ensure all promotional activity and planograms are maintained and updated by the client
  • Provide sales support by following-up in a timely manner to ensure store maximizes activation opportunities
  • Solidify Bell relationship and take initiative to exceed the client’s expectations
  • Ensure client conflict, objections and concerns are resolved
  • Act as a Bell, Virgin Mobile and Lucky Mobile ambassador by professionally representing the organization in accordance with the Bell, Virgin and Lucky value standards
  • Anticipate, analyze and communicate sales trends to store management. Be the eyes and ears in the field within the territory
  • Conduct regular store visits as agreed to in the territory coverage plan
  • Ensure all assets, fixtures and live devices are maintained and utilized as per standards

Critical Qualifications

  • Territory sales experience in a telecommunications
  • Strong people leadership skills and retail experience in a fast paced environment
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • A foundation of selling, coaching, training and skills development
  • Experience in solving issues and supporting customer needs
  • Passion for technology such as computers, mobile and digital devices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible to work days, evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and car
  • Bilingual- You will maintaining professional relationships with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada


Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
The advertised salary range may vary slightly as it is based on the company’s current salary structure, which may be revised by the company, from time to time, at its sole discretion. The agreed upon salary may also vary from the advertised salary ranges depending on several factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, experience and internal equity

Variable:The salary range above includes a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) based on average bonuses’ % earned by our employees in similar job functions. The SIP bonus payout is conditional upon meeting all of the eligibility requirements established by the company’s applicable SIP. The SIP is subject to modification by the Company from time to time, at its sole discretion to better reflect evolving business structure, goals and strategies.

For work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week. Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, Bell offers flexibility in work hours based on the business needs.
