Job Description
NBC Sports is seeking an Integration Technician to join our team who is motivated and thrives working in a fast-paced live sports production environment. This position is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing integrated systems and troubleshooting issues that support live sports broadcasting events.
Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to technical installations; preparation through handoff.
  • Use power tools, soldering stations, and hand tools.
  • Promote a safe work environment when working alone and with others.
  • Follow wiring guidelines and standards, maximum pulling force, bend radius, cable termination, cable dressing
  • Maintain a clean and orderly installation of the wired infrastructures.
  • Clean/Prep work areas for daily activities.
  • Moving/Preparing supplies and equipment.
  • Install low voltage cabling in active broadcast environments.
  • Terminate low voltage wires - including HD video, audio, data, and control wires.
  • Installation of racked equipment.
  • Mount data and audio/video jacks and drywall plates.
  • Assist Lead Installer to complete concurrent projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in a live broadcast environment or related field
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to produce concise written reports
  • Ability to comprehend AutoCAD and engineering documentation
  • Basic understanding of Fiber installation and maintenance
