Start Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers – DDU Routes

We are hiring experienced box truck drivers to support newly awarded DDU (Destination Delivery Unit) lane services. These routes involve delivering palletized mail to local USPS facilities, where postal carriers complete the final delivery. This is not residential or door-to-door delivery.

Schedule & Route Details

  • Days: Monday through Saturday (6 days/week)
  • Start Time: 2:00–3:00 AM
  • Route Type: USPS DDU (post office delivery only)
  • Starting Point: Kearny, NJ
  • Freight: Palletized mail using rolling carts

Compensation

Primary Route:

  • 5–6 hours
  • $150–$160 per day

Secondary Route:

  • 10–12 hours
  • $180 per day
  • Additional Loads (when available):
  • $60 per extra load
  • Pay Schedule: Weekly via Direct Deposit every Friday

What Is a DDU Route?
DDU (Destination Delivery Unit) routes involve delivering palletized mail to USPS post offices or delivery hubs, not to individual homes or businesses. Postal carriers handle the final “last-mile” delivery.

Driver Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 26ft box truck
  • Deliver palletized freight to assigned USPS/DDU locations
  • Load and offload rolling carts as required
  • Follow dispatch instructions and route tracking via smartphone
  • Maintain DOT and safety compliance at all times

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • No suspensions for any reason within the last 8 months
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Driver’s Abstract (issued within the last 30 days)
  • 2+ years of experience driving a 26ft box truck
  • Ability to load/offload rolling carts
  • Smartphone for dispatch communication and route tracking
