SRE / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Job Description We're looking for a hands-on Site Reliability / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong Azure and Terraform experience to strengthen our infrastructure, security, and reliability posture. You'll work directly with the CTO and senior engineers to implement and improve key parts of our security maturity roadmap — from access control and IaC automation to logging, monitoring, and disaster recovery. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level engineer who's comfortable taking ownership, improving existing systems, and growing into a senior role with broader architectural responsibility. Your specific responsibilities • Maintain and improve our Azure infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and arenaflex efficiency. • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) across environments. • Take ownership of our security posture — IAM, Conditional Access, privileged identities, and network segmentation and edge security • Operate and enhance arenaflex/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps / CircleCI or similar). • Manage and optimize logging and observability (Azure Monitor, Sentinel, ELK/EFK, Datadog, or Grafana). • Collaborate with developers to improve deployment automation and system reliability. • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, deployments, and incidents. Required Qualifications • 4–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles. • Strong hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, Networking, IAM, Security, Monitoring) • Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code workflows. • Working knowledge of arenaflex/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment strategies. • Experience with Entra ID, PIM, Conditional Access • Solid knowledge of network security, firewall rules, and zero trust principles. • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, AKS/Kubernetes). • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Sentinel, or ELK/EFK). • Scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation. • Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and thrives in a collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience managing PostgreSQL or other cloud databases. • Familiarity with Cloudflare (WAF, Access, Zero Trust). • Exposure to Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, or CrowdStrike. • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks). • Interest in AI automation, XDR, or security event correlation tools. • Strategic and proactive – researches options, anticipates challenges, and makes informed decisions. • Action-oriented – ships, iterates, and learns quickly. • Collaborative and growth-minded – helps build culture and grows with the company. • Quality-focused – balances speed with maintainable, scalable solutions. • Persistent – doesn't give up when faced with complex technical challenges.
