The Siri Developer Platform team builds Developer Tools and API's to power Siri Apple Intelligence Features and increase developer productivity. The team plays a key role in designing and developing easy to use, scalable and intuitive API's and developer tools for the next generation of Apple Intelligence features.

Description

The Siri Developer Platform Team is looking for an outstanding engineer to help build our next

generation assistant, powered by large language models integrated with all of the functionality within the Apple ecosystem. The team brings together understanding, execution and response to enable complex voice and text interactions. You should have an eye toward great user and developer experiences, developer API design and system architecture.

This is a highly cross functional group. You will collaborate with specialized teams across AI/ML, Apple's software engineering and services organizations. This is a rare opportunity to deliver unprecedented power to our users around the world.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in building production quality developer frameworks and SDKʼs

5+ years of experience in iOS or macOS development

Excellent software design and programming skills in Swift/Objective-C

Familiarity with modern generative AI technologies such as MCP, skills, RAG, agents, and associated challenges to deliver this technology with high quality, with excellent performance and efficient use of system resources

Fluent with AI programming tools such as Opus 4.6, Codex 5.3, Anti-gravity

Experience shipping code on device

Experience designing, building, deploying and maintaining distributed systems

Minimum Qualifications

M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Experience with C/C++, Java, Swift, Objective-C

Strong in Computer Science fundamentals, software engineering principles, and development methodologies

Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
