Job Title: Senior Salesforce Platform Administrator

Location: Hybrid – NYC (Local candidates ONLY; onsite ~2-3x/week)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Platform Administrator to join a high-performing team. This is not a developer or architect role — the focus is hands-on Salesforce administration. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization, with the ability to manage complex orgs and support enterprise processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on administration and support for Salesforce platform.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business requirements (objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, process automation).
  • Maintain data integrity, security, and system performance.
  • Manage user access, profiles, permission sets, and roles.
  • Support system releases, testing, and change management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions efficiently.
  • Mentor junior administrators as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Salesforce administration experience (core requirement; additional experience in other software is acceptable).
  • Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration and customization.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform features, including objects, workflows, process builder, flows, validation rules, page layouts, and security model.
  • Proven track record supporting complex, enterprise Salesforce orgs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of system administration tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
  • Salesforce Admin, Platform App Builder, or Advanced Admin certifications.
  • Experience in a hybrid/enterprise team environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
