The Sr. Coordinator, Talent Acquisition will provide administrative, scheduling and project support for the Nationwide Talent Acquisition team. This will be a hybrid work opportunity.

As a Senior Recruiting Coordinator, you will partner with recruiters and hiring teams to understand the business needs and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represents Nationwide and provides a positive experience to each candidate throughout the hiring process.

  • Schedules interviews and ensures hiring teams have the necessary information prior to their interviews, such as candidate resumes and candidate interview schedules.

  • Manages candidate travel and expenses, submits travel reimbursements and greets candidates upon arrival.

  • Registers for recruiting events, prepares career fair materials and ships materials to event.

  • Maintains job descriptions on external diversity and campus job boards.

  • Facilitates onboarding process in Workday, including I-9s, background checks, etc.

  • May mentor other coordinators, team members on recruiting procedures, processes and services as needed.

  • Collaborates with other team members on research, process improvement and other project work.

  • Administers confidential background checks and licensing for Nationwide executives.

  • Processes, tracks, reviews and approves invoices for department.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager or Director, Talent Acquisition. This is an individual contributor role.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate degree in human resources or related area preferred.

Experience: Typically, three or more years of recruiting/human resources or office experience working with calendars and collaboration software while supporting multiple professionals.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Knowledge of the specialized needs of insurance company and/or financial services operations, especially the different types of careers/jobs preferred. Knowledge and understanding of Workday information systems. Proven communication skills. Demonstrated ability to be detailed oriented and possess strong organizational and prioritization skills. Collaborative approach and ability to remain flexible and resilient in a fast-paced and quick changing environment.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.

The expected starting salary range for Sr Recruiting Coordinator, Talent Acquisition : $49,100.00 - $73,700.00
