Position Overview:

You will play a critical role in securely packaging and preventing inadequate cut goods from reaching sewing facilities by performing quality checks on all pieces.

Wondering what you’d be doing?

Take instructions from Supervisor.
Check number of parts cut in every marker.
Perform quality checks on all pieces prior to packaging.
Make sure all small parts are tied with elastic band and put in the bag.
Make sure to send end fabrics. Label the style and PO for every color and for every recut.
Preparation of boxes and skids to pack cut goods.
Take off cut parts from the cutting machine table, sort and pack them up.
Clear the conveyor to optimize cutting machine operation.
Assist the cutter operator to move spreads on the cutting machine.
Report immediately to the Supervisor any issues.
Ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
Ensure a clean and safe workstation.

Understanding of numbers and measurements
Good command of English is required
Working knowledge of production functions
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and works well under pressure
Detailed oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 50 pounds
