Social Media Community Moderator

We are looking for a professional, level-headed Community Moderator to manage comment sections on our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

This role focuses on maintaining a positive, brand-safe environment while protecting conversion integrity.


Scope:

  • Review and moderate comments daily
  • Remove personal attacks, purchase-deterrent language, and harassment
  • Apply and update keyword filters
  • Hide or delete inappropriate comments
  • Block repeat offenders
  • Engage positively with supportive comments (like, short brand-aligned replies)
  • Escalate serious threats or defamation immediately
  • Provide weekly summary report

Tone Guidelines:

  • Confident
  • Calm
  • Never argumentative
  • No sarcasm
  • No debating critics
  • Amplify positive voices

Trial Structure:

  • 10 hours per week
  • 30-day trial
  • Weekly written report required
  • Access via Meta Business Manager only (no full login credentials)

Experience Required:

  • Prior community moderation experience
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite
  • Experience handling polarizing or high-engagement accounts preferred
