<Responsibilities>

  • Design and develop custom Shopify themes that align with brand identity and marketing goals using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language)
  • Create engaging visual content including logos, banners, and graphics utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD
  • Implement responsive web design principles to ensure seamless experiences across desktops, tablets, and smartphones
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user experience through wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma or InVision
  • Optimize website performance through SEO best practices and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics
  • Maintain and update existing Shopify stores by troubleshooting issues, performing website maintenance, and implementing new features using web development skills in JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine website layouts and interactions for maximum engagement
  • Ensure web accessibility standards are met for all users by adhering to WCAG guidelines

<Requirements>

  • Proven experience designing and developing Shopify e-commerce websites with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual design skills and technical proficiency
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Liquid templating language, PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap framework
  • Skilled in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma for creating wireframes and prototypes
  • Knowledge of SEO strategies and web analytics platforms including Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics for data-driven decision making
  • Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal is a plus
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles focusing on usability, web accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive web design techniques
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket for collaborative development workflows
  • Ability to interpret user research data to inform design improvements; excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
  • A proactive attitude with the motivation to stay current on emerging trends in digital design and e-commerce technology
