Overview: Need a technical expert to design and manage AT&T GEO Satellite Earth stations as well as maintain link performance for the remote sites. Provide technical support in designing and managing AT&T LEO services. Provide expertise in designing, deploying and optimizing 4G/LTE and 5G RAN solutions. Technical Expertise Needed: -Strong knowledge of RF engineering, communications systems, and digital signal processing. -Familiarity with satellite payload technology, including digital beamforming and antenna systems. -Proficiency with hands-on hardware testing of electrical or mechanical systems, subsystems, or components. -Develop and refine the architecture for the satellite ground Earth station, including radio frequency (RF) equipment, networking hardware, and software. -In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP) and enterprise networking. -Oversee the operational performance of the Earth station as well Remote Satellite components, troubleshoot complex network issues, and conduct root cause analysis. -Conduct performance analysis, including system throughput, response time, operational requirements, and system loading. -Participate in proposal reviews and technical evaluations for satellite systems. -Serve as a subject matter expert in transmission technologies, including modulation and coding, link budgets, radio frequency (RF) equipment, antennas, waveforms, blockage mitigation, and relevant algorithms/protocols. -Hands-on experience in RF measurement techniques, test, and verification of ground stations, and expertise in auxiliary systems like Network (IP, switching, routing), Monitoring and Control systems, power, HVAC, and civil engineering. -Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and routing familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP/UDP/PING/ARP etc. -Design, integrate and optimize cellular networks, leading technical projects and troubleshooting complex issues in 4G/LTE and 5G wireless systems. -Willingness to travel to the ground station and customer sites to support ongoing deployments and troubleshooting efforts. -Expert in vendor and customer management. -Efficient analytical skills, problem solving, project & time management, critical task decision making, as well as the ability to provide practical conclusions. -Proven experience with tools like Word, Excel, Excel VBA, Powerpoint, MS Project, Visio, Notes, Windows and Linux. Soft skills: -Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management. -Expert in document writing, Network drawings and presentations.
