Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.<br><br></em></strong><strong>Overview<br><br></strong>The Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives will serve as the product owner of the enterprise project management tool, oversee portfolio reporting and benefit realization, and manage the intake pipeline of new projects to ensure compliance across projects, programs, and portfolios. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, enabling transparency for executives, accountability for project teams, and value delivery across the organization.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <br><br><li>Office of the CIO Orchestration </li><li></li><li>Plan and coordinate events, meetings, and workshops to facilitate communication and collaboration within the IT Leaders and across the organization.</li><li>Build trusted relationships with finance, HR, engineering, product, business operations, customer service and vendor teams.</li><li>Portfolio Reporting & Benefit Realization</li><li>Develop and maintain enterprise portfolio dashboards that provide real-time visibility into IT performance metrics and project statuses.</li><li>Build presentations that summarize information for executive-level consumption.</li><li>Partner with finance to oversee and manage the budget for the IT department and PMO, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in all operations.</li><li>Manage a team of analysts who assist with gathering and consolidating data</li><li>Product Ownership – Enterprise Project Management Tool</li><li>Own and configure the enterprise project management tool, ensuring the outputs meet executive reporting needs, the project teams use the tool effectively and system configuration permits ad-hoc reporting</li><li>Scale and drive adoption of the tool across new teams within Enercare to create a single source of truth for projects.</li><li>Partner with change management to implement new functionality in project teams, generating rapid adoption</li><li>Intake Pipeline Management</li><ul><li>Oversee the intake process for new projects and programs. Work with the business to understand the project ask</li><li>Create portfolio summaries for each executive outlining their project statuses, roadmaps and backlogs.</li><li>Work with Delivery Leads and Value Stream Owners to create portfolio level roadmaps that are aligned to prioritization and resource capacity. </li><li>Compliance & Governance</li><ul><li>Partner with project teams to ensure consistent use of templates, policies, and project governance so executives have a similar experience from all project teams</li><li>Conduct audits and reviews with project teams to ensure accountability and transparency.<br></li></ul></ul><strong>Skills And Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.</li><li>8–10 years of experience in project portfolio management, strategic delivery, or EPMO leadership.</li><li>Finance skills: Experience with organizing, analyzing and validating financial data using Excel spreadsheets to extract meaningful insights and inform strategic decisions</li><li>Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Facilitation: Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead meetings, workshops, and discussions effectively.</li><li>PowerPoint: Advanced proficiency in creating professional and impactful PowerPoint presentations.</li><li>Event Organization: Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating events, meetings, and workshops.</li><li>Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.</li><li>Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement changes effectively.</li><li>Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.<br><br></li></ul>Enercare is an equal opportunity employer.
