Job Overview This is a full-time (40 hours/week) remote position based in Illinois, offering the flexibility to work from home while taking on challenging and rewarding responsibilities. The role involves working Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm CST. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs. We provide 2 days of comprehensive training, which will be conducted onsite in Schaumburg, IL, to ensure you have all the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in your role. Primary Responsibilities Interact with customers to gather support data, ensuring invoice accuracy and resolving specific billing discrepancies. Provide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing function. Educate customers about the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications. Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed. Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables. Qualifications and Requirements Essential Qualifications High School Diploma / GED. Must be 18 years or older. Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications. Ability to train onsite for the first two days in Schaumburg, IL. Ability to work Monday- Friday, 07:30AM - 04:00PM CST. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) or 1+ years of experience in an office setting, call center setting, or phone support role. Telecommuting Requirements Reside within the state of Illinois. Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable). Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Must live in a location that can receive an arenaflex approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
