Job Description Summary The Senior Director of Product Strategy supports the identification and development of the product offerings for the regional business. Job Description Role Summary/Purpose This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading all Product Management elements of the X-ray portfolio for the US and Canada to grow orders, revenue and maximize profitability. This role will actively mine voice of customer and market insights to formulate and operationalize product strategy, tailor product configurations and pricing for customer segment value, identifying growth opportunities, guide product roadmaps with the global x-ray business, and partner with services product management on comprehensive equipment + services solutions. Essential Responsibilities Growth, Strategy, and Product Execution • Lead end-to-end Product Management for the X-ray portfolio in the US & Canada—planning, designing, developing/testing, commercializing, operationalizing, and continuously evolving solutions. • Drive strategy and analytics in partnership with the Imaging VP for X-ray to grow revenue, optimize margin, and expand market share. • Employ market research, industry trends, voice of customer, market share, win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence, and price realization to develop product strategy and influence roadmap decisions. • Own strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders—key opinion leaders (KOLs), US/Canada Imaging leadership, global X-ray business partners, Services, Marketing, Enterprise Operations, and Healthcare Financial Services (HFS). • Catch and commercialize new product introductions (NPIs) from global engineering, including configurations, quote descriptions, and pricing in coordination with Lead Business Integrators; lead NPI evaluation contracting and pilot/ME site management for rollout or product pivots. • Develop tailored product configurations and pricing models to deliver segment-specific value; create and manage catalogs (long/medium/short descriptions), CPQ setup, NPI change orders, backlog conversions, and manage flex trials and technology obsolescence agreements. • Work horizontally with Imaging, Services, and HFS to design, evaluate, and launch region-specific commercial offerings (e.g., subscription models) and partner with Services Product Management on comprehensive equipment + services solutions. • Partner with Marketing to refine value propositions and with Learning & Development to build sales enablement training programs. • Ensure compliance with NCA processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. • Lead strategy, process, and communications for FMIs, Field Upgrades, and equipment End-of-Life actions. • Support headquarters and virtual customer visits; present portfolio and roadmap in partnership with global modality teams. • Work closely with the X-ray GM and Marketing Directors to develop and execute show site programs and KOL strategies. • Identify growth opportunities and influence global and regional product roadmaps for the X-ray business. • Build and potentially lead a growing team spanning marketing, training, and additional product management resources. Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in product management, marketing, sales, or a related discipline, including at least five years of experience selling or marketing X-ray equipment. • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead teams and shape growth vision and marketing strategy. • Strong team orientation with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, combined with strong analytical and process management capabilities. • Must be able to travel 40% and willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of customers and sales teams. Desired Characteristics • MBA or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with 12+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or a related discipline. • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, combined with deep expertise in market and customer insights, product commercialization, and branding. • Strong healthcare industry knowledge and product acumen. • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation by developing new ideas through collaboration and executing creative solutions. • Exceptional influencing skills with the ability to motivate individuals and exert organizational impact. #LI-KC1 We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $176,000.00-$264,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
