Senior Director/Director Operations, VirtuOx

The Head of Tech-Enabled Operations strengthens and unifies VirtuOx operations by building a scalable operating model that elevates maturity, integrates new and adjacent offerings, and advances automation and AI across diagnostic, logistics, and clinical workflows. This leader partners closely with Resmed enterprise teams—including product, engineering, supply chain operations, and legal—to define the pathway for integrating VirtuOx capabilities into Resmed’s broader infrastructure where it improves scale, compliance, and business performance. The role requires strong executive presence, mastery of detail, and the ability to translate complex operations into clear, decision-ready insights. Let’s Talk About Responsibilities Operational Leadership and Scale • Build an integrated operating framework that unifies Sleepifi, VirtuOx, drop-ship services, and emerging solutions. • Establish capacity planning, forecasting, and throughput models that strengthen performance without unnecessary overhead. • Create standardized processes that scale across sites, offerings, and new business models. • Partner with managers who run day-to-day operations to raise operational maturity and consistency. Digital / AI-Enabled Transformation • Design automated and AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate service delivery. • Modernize legacy processes and embed digital-first execution across operational teams. • Introduce new operating models that support future offerings and external commercial opportunities. Systems Integration and Cross-Functional Alignment • Lead the integration of operational processes from acquisitions and new service expansions. • Work with Resmed supply chain operations and legal to determine optimal timing, scope, and value for deeper integration. • Align systems and workflows to enterprise platforms when they deliver measurable performance, compliance, or scale advantages. Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management • Ensure operations meet regulatory, quality, and accreditation requirements across all states and sites. • Establish a strong operational risk management framework that safeguards business continuity. • Develop clear performance dashboards and metrics that inform senior leadership and guide operational decisions. Strategic Leadership • Shape long-range operational strategy and prepare the organization for scale, integration, and innovation. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation. • Build and develop high-performing teams aligned with Resmed values. Let’s Talk About You • 10+ years of experience leading operations in healthcare services, diagnostics, digital health, or related environments. • Demonstrated success building scalable, standardized operations across multiple sites or functional areas. • Proven track record pioneering digital transformation and deploying AI-enabled workflows in operational settings. • Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and clinical operations. • Strong integrator who thrives at the intersection of operations, product, technology, and clinical teams. • Leadership style: • Visionary operator with a bias for innovation • Process-driven with strong execution discipline • Collaborative, transparent, and highly effective at influencing across organizations • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. • Travel requirement: Ability to travel up to 25% a month. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
