The Role
As a Senior Web Developer, you will be critical in ensuring delivering robust, scalable, and innovative web and backend solutions. Working closely within cross-functional teams, you will lead the technical design, development, and implementation of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes for our clients. Your role will involve architecting technical solutions, mentoring junior developers, and continuously improving enhancing backend and web development capabilities. You will champion technical excellence and ensuring all projects meet the highest quality, security, and performance standards. As a Senior Specialist, you will foster strong relationships with clients and team members, acting as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for our mission: "Do good by our team, do good by our team our clients, and deliver great work."

Qualifications / Experience:
  • 5+ years of commercial experience in backend or web development.
  • Strong expertise in server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, PHP, Ruby) and frameworks.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and designing efficient database schemas.
  • Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating third-party services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation tools (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of performance optimisation, security best practices, and scalable architecture design.
  • Proven ability to manage workload and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Technical Leadership and Delivery:
  • Design and implement backend and web solutions that meet client requirements and align with the standards.
  • Lead the development and architecture of technical solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Act as a hands-on contributor, developing high-quality code and performing thorough code reviews.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and Producers to deliver cohesive and seamless digital experiences.
Work Arrangement
  • Home-based ; Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 4am-2pm /5am - 3pm PH Time
