Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (or II) certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes for Salesforce development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
  • Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
  • Develop and manage custom objects, workflows, process builders, and validation rules.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following Salesforce development best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and other integration tools.
  • Manage and support Salesforce deployment processes (e.g., using Change Sets, Salesforce DX).
  • Design and execute complex Salesforce metadata migration strategies, demonstrating deep expertise in the underlying Salesforce Metadata API and XML structure to facilitate seamless movement between sandboxes and production environments as well as between different production environments.
  • Ensure proper data quality and integrity by creating triggers and batch jobs.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications.
  • Support Salesforce releases, handle system updates, and resolve production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
  • Keep up to date with Salesforce features, releases, and best practices.
  • Execute data manipulation and migration tasks using appropriate Salesforce tools (e.g., Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector) to ensure data integrity and accuracy during transfers and updates.
  • Utilize SQL/SOQL for advanced data querying, analysis, and validation to support development, reporting, and data quality initiatives
Key Experiences:
  • Strong experience with Salesforce platforms, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Proven experience with large-scale Salesforce data migration and manipulation, including familiarity with external data tools and the Salesforce Inspector and Data Loader.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling principles, and proficiency in SQL and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
  • Expertise in integrating Salesforce with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs. Knowledge of Salesforce configuration tools (e.g., Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Flow).
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce DX for source control, metadata retrieval and deployment, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. This includes a thorough understanding of the Salesforce metadata XML structure.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, LWC, and Aura Components.
