Retail Experience Supervisor – Yardbird

About the position

As the Retail Experience Supervisor, you’ll lead a small team selling Yardbird outdoor furniture within a Best Buy store. You’ll help customers discover products they love while driving business results. You’ll lead by example, improve processes and drive performance in a hands-on retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Yardbird operations to create a great experience for customers and employees.
  • Drive sales growth and operational excellence by optimizing shift schedules, leveraging promotional tools and by planning floor coverage, supporting promotions, and modeling strong selling behaviors.
  • Analyze revenue and other performance data to identify opportunities and take action to improve results.
  • Coach and develop your team through regular feedback, product knowledge support and performance conversations.
  • Solve customer concerns and operational issues with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Build strong partnerships with store leaders, designers and local trade partners to grow community engagement and sales.

Requirements

  • 1 year of people leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • 2 years of retail, sales or customer service experience.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with luxury or premium retail brands.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stay motivated and productive during low traffic periods.
