Renewable Energy Portfolio Asset Manager II What You’ll Do The Renewable Energy Portfolio Asset Manager II serves as a client-facing owner’s representative for assigned renewable energy portfolios, with responsibility for coordinating execution across internal teams and external partners. This role leads cross-functional workstreams to ensure operating assets meet contractual, compliance, and performance expectations while delivering a strong client experience. The Renewable Energy Portfolio Asset Manager II helps optimize portfolio performance by monitoring outcomes, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving timely resolution in collaboration with technical, financial, and compliance teams. Success in this role requires sound judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights for clients. Key Responsibilities • Fully understand the commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting obligations of a medium number of operating portfolios of renewable energy assets (solar, wind, BESS). Drive task completion and execute tasks to ensure portfolio compliance with all project agreements. Fully understand the various Radian Asset Management scopes of work. • Lead the onboarding of new portfolios and projects and assist the various Radian teams with moving onboarding forward. • Drive the tracking and fulfilling of on-going tasks and deliverables with other internal team members; become an expert user of the Radian Digital platform and other standard platforms to drive workflow. • Review and approve performance and financial reports for the operating projects. Have the ability to develop and prepare standard and ad hoc reports as needed. • Coordinate with the Technical Asset Management team and manage the contract for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) personnel to optimize the performance and operations of the projects. • Coordinate with the Financial Asset Management team and assist in billing and revenue tracking, invoice tracking, SREC administration, PPA and tolling agreement settlements and other financial deliverables. • Manage the initial set up of revenue agreement invoicing, SRECs, settlements and revenue tracking and demonstrate a full understanding of these processes for given portfolios. Demonstrate the ability to understand the information contained in project financial statements and complex financial models. • Track project performance, weather, and operational data for operating projects through event tickets and O & M work orders. Understand and make use of the data for optimizing portfolio performance and for creating meaningful recommendations for clients. • Manage the process to create, coordinate, compile and submit FERC, EIA and other regulatory compliance obligations with support of internal team members and 3rd parties. • Lead projects and drive activities for multiple portfolios and projects of varying size and complexity. Drive resolution of problems of medium - difficult complexity and team-based scope. Required Skills & Competencies • Hands on experience managing operating renewable energy asset portfolios: solar, wind or BESS • Working knowledge of interpreting and managing various types of renewable energy contracts including PPA’s, IA’s, LLCA’s, O & M contracts, warranty documents, EPC and Asset Management, etc. • Understanding of managing, overseeing or coordinating FERC and other regulatory compliance obligations for utility-scale and C & I renewable energy projects • Team player / leader: Acts as team player and is effective at using leadership skills to build team interpersonal connections, achieve team goals and develop direct reports. Takes proactive actions to move portfolios toward optimized performance. • Oral /written communication: Listens carefully and speaks clearly and professionally in all situations. Required Qualification & Education • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Energy Studies, Environmental Studies, technical Engineering, or field related to renewable energy • 5-8 years of experience in renewable energy asset management or operations, or equivalent work experience in renewable energy. • Demonstrated client management and communication skills with the ability to resolve high visibility issues and communicate effectively in difficult situations. • Experience with performance data analysis, project specific recommendations, arenaflex benefit analyses, reporting, and presentation • Experience with managing to budget and utilizing complex financial models for managing of operating renewable energy assets • Proven complex problem solving skills • Expertise in asset management software systems & third-party monitoring platforms Preferred Experience • At least 5+ years working with operating renewable energy assets: solar, wind or BESS + educational credits in the industry • Successful delivery of management of small cross-functional projects • Proven experience with client management • Deep Experience with at least one of the following: C & I and utility-scale renewable energy projects and Community Solar management • Experience with performance data analysis, project specific recommendations, arenaflex benefit analyses, reporting, and presentation • Experience with interpreting and managing various types of renewable energy contracts including PPA’s, IA’s, LLCA’s, O & M contracts, warranty documents, EPC, SREC, etc. • Proven work with renewable energy data analysis, reporting and presentation • Experience managing, overseeing or coordinating EIA & FERC compliance obligations for utility-scale and C & I renewable energy projects • Experience leading a team • Expertise in solar PV, wind or BESS equipment and system design This position is fully remote and may be based anywhere in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. The arenaflex hiring range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
