[Remote] VP, Finance & Administration (Remote in U.S.)

As the Vice President of Finance & Administration, you will lead financial and administrative functions, ensuring effective management and strategic alignment across the organization. Responsibilities • Lead and oversee all finance and accounting functions globally, fostering innovation and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational outcomes • Oversee alignment and optimization of financial, administrative, and operational investments to ensure impact, efficiency, and strategic partnership across the organization • Direct annual and long-term financial and operational planning, budgeting, and forecasting in alignment with organizational strategy • Serve as the primary finance liaison to the Board and Finance & Audit Committees for both USGBC and GBCI • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global finance team, promoting professional growth and a diverse and inclusive workplace • Design and implement best-in-class policies for risk management, compliance, governance, and internal controls • Direct all audit, tax, and regulatory compliance matters, including the 990 process and board approvals • Partner with the COO, senior leadership, and Product leaders to drive pricing strategy and successful expansion into new markets • Provide forward-looking financial analysis, modeling, and insights to support strategic decision-making and proactively identify risks and opportunities • Champion technology modernization, ERP evolution, process improvement, and operational excellence to ensure scalable, efficient, and reliable financial operations Skills • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, accounting, and administration in complex and/or global organizations • At least 5 years leading multidisciplinary teams in multicultural, multi-currency environments with global tax, compliance, and reporting scope • Demonstrated success driving enterprise transformation, operational excellence, and large-scale process improvement • Bachelor's degree required • Enterprise financial and ERP systems • Advanced arenaflex Office Suite • Financial planning, reporting, and modeling platforms • Strategic and enterprise-level financial leadership • Executive communication and board-level presentation skills • Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and risk management • Collaborative leadership in matrixed organizations • Organizational leadership and change management • Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations strongly preferred • Master's degree (MBA, MPA, or equivalent) strongly preferred • CPA or CMA strongly preferred Benefits • Competitive compensation • 401(k) with employer matching • Professional development reimbursement • We offer a healthcare plan through arenaflex that includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription drugs.
