[Remote] System Engineer - MicroSoft

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CDW is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and a solid understanding of Azure Active Directory from an identity and access management perspective. This role will support and maintain a diverse IT infrastructure, security tools, and endpoint systems.


Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 environment, including user management, licensing, and policy enforcement
  • Manage and configure Azure AD / Entra ID, focusing on identity and access management
  • Maintain endpoint protection using SentinelOne
  • Utilize RMM tools and ConnectWise for remote support and system monitoring
  • Manage backups using Rubrik or similar tool
  • Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Work with the Halo ticketing system for incident and service request tracking
  • Assist in user training and manage KnowBe4 for security awareness
  • Monitor and manage vulnerabilities using Tenable
  • Handle email authentication configurations using ValiMail, including DMARC/DKIM setup

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar IT support role
  • Strong administrative experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Working knowledge of endpoint protection, RMM platforms, and virtualization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise, Rubrik, Tenable, ValiMail, and KnowBe4
