[Remote] Customer Advocacy & Storytelling Lead

They are seeking a creative and strategic leader to drive customer advocacy and storytelling, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to elevate customer voices and support revenue-driving initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and ongoing evolution of Toast’s customer advocacy efforts
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with customer advocates across the business through recognition and engagement initiatives
  • Own and execute a cohesive customer proof strategy in partnership with key internal stakeholders
  • Ensure customer proof is easily accessible and effectively leveraged across go-to-market teams
  • Own the customer storytelling approach for internal and external events, including identifying customers, shaping narratives, and supporting customer participation
  • Partner with Sales to support customer storytelling and proof needs for priority opportunities
  • Ensure relevant customer examples and proof points are available to support high-impact, revenue-driving conversations

Skills

  • 6+ years in customer marketing, brand comms, or content-focused roles within B2B or tech
  • A strong storyteller with excellent written and content development skills
  • Comfortable partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams to support go-to-market priorities
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives and navigate cross-functional work in a fast pace environment
  • Passionate about elevating customer voices and driving impact through storytelling
  • Well-organized, with a thoughtful, structured approach to customer advocacy and storytelling
