[Remote] Cloud Application Architect (only TX candidates) -W2

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. My3Tech is seeking a Cloud Application Architect to plan and engineer cloud computing infrastructure and applications. The role involves designing cloud-based solutions, synthesizing architecture guidelines, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure that architecture models meet business requirements. Responsibilities • Responsible for planning and engineering of an organization's cloud computing infrastructure and applications • Designs cloud-based hardware and software solutions. Expertise in standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technologies • Demonstrates expertise in wide variety of Cloud models such as Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) • Synthesizes architecture guidelines and strategies from a broad stakeholder set to transform logical models into physical architectures, designs and implementations • Designing and addressing key architecture considerations for cloud systems • Resolving issues regarding technology components responsible for performing functional capabilities, or determining how technologies will communicate when responsibility must be shared across technologies; and • Publishing, updating and ensuring that the architecture models meet business requirements and architecture standards • Practitioner of systems development processes and methodologies • Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional, multi-Service Provider work teams • Familiarity with relational database technologies and capabilities • Knowledge of relevant industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations and trendsetters • Ability to justify project, equipment or staffing expenditures by identifying, cost, benefits and associated risks • Special contextual knowledge of implementation designs and the cost modeling associate with developing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models • Ability to work with others in a constructive and collaborative manner • Ability to think critically; to recognize and anticipate a problem (technical, operational, process, organizational) and to identify and implement the best solution in a timely manner • Excellent written and oral presentation skills • Knowledge and understanding of marketplace experience, developments and trends related to the Information Technology function • Experience with scalability and performance issues related data bases Skills • Responsible for planning and engineering of an organization's cloud computing infrastructure and applications • Designs cloud-based hardware and software solutions.
