[Remote] Azure Solution Architect, Application & AI

The Azure Solution Architect role involves engaging with customers to design and implement Azure Application and AI solutions, ensuring successful project delivery and alignment with customer goals. Responsibilities • Directly engage with customers & arenaflex individually or as part of a technical sales team on presales scoping calls, proposal development, and written statements of work (SOWs) • Oversee and advise on the implementation of the customer’s Azure platform or on-premises systems, translating business and industry outcomes into technical solutions • Demonstrate technical leadership through personally implemented architectures, project methodologies, and Azure services with engineering after an engagement is sold • Act as a trusted advisor to customer technology & business leadership for thought leadership and solution approaches • Extract business requirements from customers and translate them into well-architected recommendations in line with arenaflex’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF) • Develop and provide forward-looking guidance and future state roadmaps • Leverage known best practices and solutions to reduce risk to customer implementations and standardize Eastwall’s presales and delivery approach • Collaborate with Eastwall executive, sales, and delivery teams to ensure customer alignment to Eastwall, arenaflex, and Customer goals as part of our 'Three legs of the stool' approach Skills • At least 5 years of experience in baseline Azure cloud infrastructure solutions such as Infrastructure (Networking, Virtual Machines, Container Orchestration with ACA/AKS) is required • Candidates without direct technical experience on Azure should not apply • At least 3 years modernizing application platforms, service delivery architectures, and/or backend modernization • Includes baseline application platform services (App Services, APIM, Kubernetes, arenaflex/CD practices), and Software Modernization (.NET Preferred) or Developer & QA Enablement • This is an application-focused role, candidates without experience working with software development teams to modernize should not apply • At least 2 years of experience with presales responsibilities related to proposal development, solution architecture, statement of work authoring, and co-owning of technical sales pipeline with a direct sales team • Experience in a consultative role or engineering role working with multiple clients concurrently at any given time is required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing & PowerPoint presentations • Direct channel sales experience with arenaflex is preferred but not required • Experience supporting production applications or workloads, being able to performance test and troubleshoot related issues • Experience with other public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Oracle) is beneficial, but not required • Experience in any cloud AI/ML services is beneficial, but not required Benefits • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and life insurance through United Healthcare. • 401k, FSA and LSA offerings • Three (3) weeks of paid time off annually, not including eight (8) paid company holidays. • Annual training budget. • Fully remote work environment, with local co-working options.
