[Remote] Azure Architect - Azure DevOps

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to support a cloud transformation initiative for one of their clients. The role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure cloud architectures while leading modernization efforts across a complex enterprise environment. Responsibilities • Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and application solutions on arenaflex Azure • Strategize and execute migration of complex, multi-tier applications from on-premises environments to Azure • Collaborate with engineering, application, and security teams to define architectural patterns, governance models, and cloud-native best practices • Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep • Architect arenaflex/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based environments, while maintaining compliance and security requirements • Provide architectural guidance on Azure services, arenaflex optimization, backup/disaster recovery, and resource governance • Evaluate current environments and drive improvements in automation, monitoring, and security posture • Document architectural standards, solutions, and operational processes for use across multiple teams • Mentor junior engineers and developers on cloud adoption, DevOps principles, and architectural best practices Skills • 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years as a cloud architect or in a similar senior Azure-focused role • arenaflex Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert strongly preferred • Deep expertise in Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates • Strong grasp of DevOps and arenaflex/CD methodologies, with hands-on experience in pipeline automation and release management • Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar for automation and deployment • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks • Experience with container orchestration (AKS/Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus • Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Expertise in cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, and VPN gateways • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-premises systems • Experience implementing Zero Trust security models and policies in cloud environments • Knowledge of multi-cloud architectures (AWS/GCP exposure is a plus but not required) • Demonstrated leadership in driving cloud adoption strategies, arenaflex control, and architecture reviews Company Overview • ShiftCode Analytics Inc is a Tampa, FL based firm formed with one sole purpose of delivering best and quick services to its clients nationwide.
