[Remote] Accounting Operations System Analysis Program Manager (Remote)

Nordstrom is a leading fashion retailer, and they are seeking an Accounting Operations System Analysis Program Manager to provide strategic leadership over finance systems analysis. The role involves overseeing a systems analysis team, ensuring scalable and well-controlled accounting operations aligned with business growth, and partnering with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a systems analysis team supporting Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, providing functional guidance, coaching, and clear direction on solution design aligned to accounting policy and operational needs
  • Set expectations and standards for systems analysis across integrations and upstream/downstream dependencies, ensuring the team documents current‑state processes, identifies gaps, and delivers scalable improvements
  • Provide hands‑on leadership and mentorship to the systems analysis team supporting Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, guiding analysis, validation, and end‑to‑end financial integrity
  • Establish and maintain production support operating models by directing the team on SOPs, job aids, playbooks, SLAs, and effective stakeholder communications
  • Ensure the team embeds strong financial controls by guiding reconciliation design, exception handling, monitoring, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and preventative root‑cause analysis
  • Provide leadership over intake triage, backlog prioritization, governance, and release planning, enabling the team to balance production support with strategic enhancements and data integrity objectives

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance or related field
  • 10+ years of business analysis experience in Finance/Accounting operations or Finance Systems
  • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong management and organizational and problem-solving skills
  • A proven ability to thrive in a close‑knit, fast‑paced team environment built on collaboration and accountability
  • Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Cloud ERP/Financials (implementation, optimization, or production support)
  • Strong understanding of accounting operations and close processes; ability to translate accounting needs into system requirements
