Job Profile Reporting to the Traffic Management Engineer, the Regional Traffic Engineer is responsible for analyzing data, developing recommendations, coordinating and executing projects that optimize the efficiency, safety, and convenience of the regional street network with consideration to all modes. This position provides input to the Road Safety Improvement Program, reviews major capital projects, makes recommendations for network upgrades, and consults and updates by-laws, guidelines and practices. This position also supervises the Traffic Analyst.
