The Program Specialist will be responsible for supporting program business and functional operations, identifying and facilitating the resolution of operational issues, and acting as a liaison between technical and functional areas. This position reports directly to the Program Manager and involves executing, monitoring, and supporting various aspects of the program.<br /><br /><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></p><ul><li><p><b>Program Support:</b> Assist the Program Manager in planning and monitoring program activities.</p></li><li><p><b>Program Deliverables: </b>Own end-to-end program deliverables, ensuring all outputs meet contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements. Track, manage, and report on deliverable schedules, dependencies, and completion status.</p></li><li><p><b>Operational Issue Resolution:</b> Identify, facilitate, and help resolve operational issues within the program.</p></li><li><p><b>Liaison Role:</b> Serve as a bridge between technical and functional teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.</p></li><li><p><b>Compliance and Reporting:</b> Handle tasks related to compliance, incident reports, and investigations oversight.</p></li><li><p><b>Minor Process Changes:</b> Implement minor changes in systems and processes to address identified problems.</p></li><li><p><b>Problem Solving:</b> Define and address problems that are not immediately evident but typically not complex, using prior experiences or standard procedures.</p></li><li><p><b>Communication:</b> Engage with internal contacts to obtain or provide information, requiring some explanation or interpretation to reach agreement.</p></li><li><p><b>Organizational Impact:</b> Contribute to achieving operational objectives within the job area, which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the department.
