Production Chef

Overview
We are seeking an experienced production chef to help manage operational needs for The Grales. As we expand to our fourth venture, Grale Goods, we are in need of a strong teammate with focused duties around the production for our outlets. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in daily production operations and ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires culinary expertise, and a passion for excellence in food production.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute kitchen production to to standard..
  • Oversee production planning and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling..
  • Manage production operations on a day to day level.
  • Build, organize and execute par sheets.
  • Execute production needs for all Grales properties; including: Grale Goods, Gralehaus and Holy Grale.
  • Produce food of high quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency with fine dining standards.
  • Assist in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.

Skills

  • Proven experience in the food industry with a focus on culinary excellence.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes and menu planning strategies.
  • Proficient in various cooking techniques and kitchen management practices.
  • Experience in scratch cooking with a technique focus
  • Ability to manage multiple task to completion at a high level.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff..
  • Background in hospitality or restaurant management is an asset.
  • Experience in catering services is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
