This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the full pre-construction phase of façade and cladding remediation projects, ensuring schemes are technically compliant, commercially viable, and strategically planned prior to delivery.<br><br>Key Responsibilities Technical & Compliance<br><br>Strong knowledge of façade systems including rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, EWI, and brick slip systems.<br><br>In-depth understanding of fire safety legislation including the Building Safety Act 2022, Approved Document B, PAS 9980, and BS 8414.<br><br>Experience managing remediation of non-compliant cladding systems such as ACM, HPL, and timber.<br><br>Ability to interpret and challenge architectural and engineering drawings.<br><br>Lead design coordination and value engineering processes during pre-construction.<br><br>Management<br><br>Lead early-stage planning including scope definition, risk identification, and programme development.<br><br>Develop and manage detailed programmes using MS Project or Asta Powerproject.<br><br>Support procurement strategies and proactively engage with the supply chain.<br><br>Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors on cost planning and budget development.<br><br>Contribute to bid submissions, tenders, and framework applications, including public sector schemes.<br><br>Stakeholder & Team Management<br><br>Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, fire engineers, and internal delivery teams.<br><br>Chair and lead design team meetings, driving progress and accountability.<br><br>Support client presentations and technical clarifications.<br><br>Ensure a seamless transition from pre-construction to operational delivery teams.<br><br>Candidate Requirements Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar.<br><br>Professional membership (CIOB, RICS, or equivalent) desirable.<br><br>Proficiency in MS Project or Asta Powerproject.<br><br>Experience using BIM platforms such as Revit and Navisworks.<br><br>Familiarity with document control systems such as Aconex.<br><br>Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage risk at early project stages.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation operating at the forefront of façade remediation and building safety compliance within the residential and public sectors.<br><br>Apply for this job
