Pharmacy Assistant – Operations & Digital Experience

At Mednow, the Pharmacy Assistant is the heart of our operation. While we use world-class technology, it’s our people who ensure that the right medication reaches the right patient at the right time. We are looking for an operationally-driven, tech-savvy individual who wants to do more than just count pills.

If you are looking for a role where you can grow your career, master modern digital platforms, and be at the forefront of the mail-order pharmacy revolution, this is it. You won't just be working in a pharmacy; you’ll be helping run a high-growth health-tech operation.

What You'll Do

    • The Logistics Hub: You will manage the flow of prescriptions through our digital pipeline—using technologies Kroll, our in house app, Shopify for order management and UberDirect and other shipping partners to coordinate last-mile delivery.
    • Patient Experience: As our most patient-facing group, you’ll provide top-tier support via our app, phone/GoToConnect, Slack, and email, ensuring every patient feels cared for in a digital-first environment.
    • Production Excellence: Help manage our PACMED automated strip packaging for compliance patients—ensuring precision in every strip.
    • Platform Mastery: Navigate our app, Kroll Paperless, Google Workspace, and specialized prescribing platforms (PrescribeIT) to keep workflows moving at light speed.
    • Operational Growth: Assist with B2B programs and special projects alongside our clinic partners and house-call doctor services.

What You Bring

    • Tech-Native Mindset: You don’t just use apps; you understand them. Experience with Kroll paperless, Shopify, Slack, or digital delivery platforms is a massive advantage.
    • High-Speed Execution: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can switch gears between patient calls, data entry, and logistics coordination without breaking a sweat.
    • Exceptional Soft Skills: You are a clear, empathetic communicator who understands that even in a digital pharmacy, the human touch is what builds trust.
    • Ambition: You want to learn. We provide exposure to autonomous workflows and B2B health programs that you won’t find in a traditional retail setting.
    • Kroll Experience: Proficiency in Kroll (ideally paperless) and adjudication is preferred.
$18 - $22 an hour
Rates are competitive and based on your experience with pharmacy software, digital logistics platforms, and operational efficiency.
This isn't your average "back-of-the-store" assistant job. This is a front-row seat to the future of Canadian healthcare. If you’re ready to grow your skills in a tech-driven environment where your contributions are visible and valued, we want to meet you.
