<undefined><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true">The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is seeking a professional, talented and highly motivated individual for a full-time Payroll Coordinator position located in the Administrative & Technical Services Division.</span><br></undefined><undefined><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true">Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Review and audit all departmental electronic bi-weekly timesheets and payroll transmittals for accuracy.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Provide assistance to employees and supervisors in regard to completion of electronic timesheets, leave balances and requests, and overtime requests.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Research and resolve payment and leave issues.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Track employees' military leave, paid family leave, and education leave.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Update and maintain employee data within the electronic time keeping and record system.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Ensure accuracy of submitted data to county payroll for bi-weekly payroll processing.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Acts as a liaison between county financial services staff and the Sheriff's Office staff.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Prepare bi-weekly reports for county financial services staff and risk management staff</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Prepare training materials and provide new hire training for payroll functions.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• Ensure compliance with Laws and Regulations.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">• May perform other essential job functions specific to the position and department assignment.</span></undefined><br><br><undefined><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">Hiring salary commensurate with experience. </span><br></undefined><undefined><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true">High School diploma; four (4) years of work experience related to assigned area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</span><br></undefined><undefined><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true">Selection process includes review of the Applicant Screening Questionnaire and County employment application; in-person interview(s); and an intensive background investigation to include fingerprinting, criminal background check, credit check, driving record, and polygraph examination.</span><br></undefined>
