JOB DESCRIPTION

  • EMR experience? Do you know your way around an EMR? Scheduling or Contacting Patients, Confirmations? We seek dedicated and detail-oriented applicants to reach out to patients at the request of their healthcare providers to help scheduling medical appointments with health specialists. You can make a difference to patients and their care! *Bilingual is a PLUS* EPIC +++++
  • Pay is between $16 and $20 early stages with potential to ramp to $25+ per hour based on productivity very quickly.
  • PAID One to one and hands-on orientation classes to learn Client requirements. Easy if you’ve scheduled in ANY EMR.
  • PT or FT available7 days a week available, with 25 hours per week minimum, but up to 40 hours an option!! Work weekends along with some days of week if best for you. *Special Mon-Fri hours required for PAID hands-on ORIENTATION but then choose your shift for post-Orientation.
  • Hours of operation are 8 am through 8 pm! Required scheduled 25 hours…you choose the days. Mon- Sun. See below for PAID Orientation Class Hours for 1st 10 days
  • Only applicants with minimum 1-year EMR scheduling experience will be considered
  • No health benefits
  • Phone software provided!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-year experience scheduling in either a medical call center setting, medical health provider's office, or facility doing medical scheduling within the EMR
  • Applicant must have a desire to work from home but MUST work the committed hours. Expectations are the same as if you were traveling to an office setting.

JOB DUTIES

  • Outbound call management - Assisting patients with appointments or questions, or leaving messages
  • Sending messages to the Physician

JOB ORIENTATION CLASSES

  • Mandatory Monday - Friday for 10 days, between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm EST.

IDEAL CANDIDATES – QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recent scheduling experience with EMR is mandatory in a physician office, facility, or medical call center. Must be within the last 3 years.
  • Experience with interaction with patients, either in person or via phone, is mandatory.
  • Capable of reviewing patients'* medical concerns within* a multi-specialty setting using our Diagnosis TOOL to guide you to right Provider specialty
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a must!
  • Strong verbal communication, grammar, and spelling abilities are needed for message delivery to Physicians.
  • A quiet uninterrupted working environment is necessary. No background voices, or noise.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to maneuver between multiple windows and programs and experience in an EMR.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A computer running WINDOWS 10 or 11 or a Mac (with at least 8 GB of memory)
  • Only high-speed internet is acceptable (no satellite or hotspots) Minimum download speed 20 mbps and upload speed 5 mpbs.
  • No chromebooks or tablets
  • Microsoft Office mandatory
