We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist II to join our growing team on a part-time remote basis. As a Payroll Specialist II, you will play a critical role in processing the US Bi-Weekly payroll via Workday, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and collaborating with the Global Payroll team to document processes related to payroll. Job Highlights: Position: Payroll Specialist II - REMOTE Duration: 6 Months Work Schedule: Approximately 20 hours a week, with Monday and Tuesday being required on payroll processing weeks Location: Remote (US-based) or office locations in Philadelphia, PA, or Research Triangle Park, NC Key Responsibilities: Process US Bi-Weekly payroll via Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements Manage funding reconciliation, 401k file funding, HSA file funding, and invoice reconciliation Serve as a liaison to employees, addressing pay and tax-related queries Audit employee records to ensure accuracy of payroll, deductions, 401(k), and tax-related issues Ensure federal, state, and local income and unemployment tax compliance with the payroll provider and authoritative bodies Reconcile Workday to filed quarterly/annual tax returns Complete year-end processes, including reviewing quarterly/annual wage and tax reports, correcting employee wages and/or taxes, and previewing W-2s Collaborate with the Global Payroll team and People & Culture team members to document processes related to payroll Maintain confidentiality and non-disclosure of employee and company information and data Essential and Preferred Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess: 2-3 years of experience processing multi-state payroll Workday payroll experience (preferred) Bachelor's degree (preferred) Proficiency in using Workday and arenaflex Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (preferred) Strong customer focus, with the ability to cultivate collaboration and establish trust, respect, and confidence High ethical standards, with a commitment to acting with uncompromising integrity Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: As a Payroll Specialist II at DivIHN, you will have the opportunity to: Develop your skills in payroll processing, compliance, and team collaboration Work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results Enhance your knowledge of Workday and other payroll-related systems Grow your career with a leading technology and talent solutions firm Work Environment and Company Culture: At DivIHN, we pride ourselves on our inclusive and collaborative work environment.
