This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves staying on top of the details and wants a role that offers genuine flexibility around their life. The company is a charity dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of residents across the whole of Northamptonshire. Their mission is simple but vital: to provide support, raise awareness, and promote understanding for anyone experiencing a mental health problem.<br><br>You'll be the "go-to" person for all things HR admin, supporting the full employee lifecycle from the moment someone applies to their very last day. You'll work closely with our managers to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.<br><br>Your Key Responsibilities<br>Onboarding & Recruitment: Posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters and contracts for new starters.<br><br>Compliance: Managing pre-employment checks, including Right to Work, references, and DBS checks where needed.<br><br>Data Management: Keeping our HR system (and paper files) up to date with 100% accuracy.<br><br>Payroll Support: Assisting with monthly payroll prep by recording absences, overtime, and any changes to employee details.<br><br>First Point of Contact: Answering basic HR queries from the team and managing the HR inbox.<br><br>Training Coordination: Helping to book staff training sessions and tracking completion dates.<br><br>Policy Support: Making sure our handbooks and policies are up to date and easily accessible.<br><br>What We're Looking For<br>Experience: Previous experience in an office admin or HR role is a big plus, but a "can-do" attitude is most important.<br><br>The "Human" Touch: You'll be handling sensitive info, so discretion and a friendly, professional manner are key.<br><br>Organisation: You're the type of person who loves a checklist and never lets a deadline slip.<br><br>Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and happy to learn new HR systems.<br><br>Communication: Great written and verbal skills-you'll be chatting with people at all levels of the business.<br><br>Why Join Us?<br>True Flexibility: We actually mean it.
