Position Purpose: To View A Day In The Life Of A Hospital Service Tech: Click Here Under management direction, a Remote Hospital Services Technician provides service to a customer healthcare facility located outside the boundaries of service established for existing service teams. These healthcare facilities most often are located within a small labor market, and are considered remote to normal business operations. Often, the remote facility is an hour away from other healthcare facilities serviced by the Company. Remote Hospital Service Technicians generally work a minimum of 10 hours or less per week. Team members within the local small labor market typically are responsible to service a single healthcare facility. Schedule and Locations Monday: Off Tuesday: Off Wednesday: Olympic Medical Center - (5am Start) and Olympic Medical Center MOB (7am Start) Thursday:Olympic Medical Center - (6am Start) Friday: Off Key Job Activities: * Provides service to one or more customers' healthcare facilities, proactively monitoring, collecting, and exchanging waste containers consistent with the various Stericycle programs and services, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance and Document Management. * Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. * Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule. * Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled. * Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned. Experience (North America & LATAM): * 2+ years' work experience or Highschool diploma or equivalent * Demonstrate strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations. * May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements. * Must possess a valid driver's license. Must possess reliable transportation to travel between customer facilities. * Ability to work independently and with little supervision. * Knowledge of computer/handheld of software applications including spreadsheets, and application-based programs to track daily KPI's * This position requires being on-site at a Stericycle customer location and complying with all of the customers' mandatory immunization requirements, including full vaccination against COVID-19.
