About Us: Our family cherishes the happiness and well-being of our children, and we take joy in caring for our beloved 13-year-old Siberian Husky and 3-year-old Retriever-Labrador. With a 4-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy, and two teenage children, we are seeking a caring and reliable Babysitter/Nanny/Caregiver to assist with afternoon and evening childcare, and some weekends, as needed. As the children adore our furry family members, this position is ideally suited for someone who adores both children and pets.

Responsibilities: As a valued member of our family team, your role is essential in providing attentive and nurturing care for our children following the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the children in the home during afternoon-evening hours.
  • Accompanying children from the bus stop and picking up the two smaller children at the daycare / after-school program.
  • Picking up the children as needed.
  • Ensuring the children's safety, comfort, and preparedness during the evening.
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for them / supervising the older siblings to do the same for the younger siblings.
  • Assisting the children with daily routines and transitions.
  • Keeping a daily activity journal to share notable updates and actions.

Requirements: To thrive in this role, we seek someone with the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including babysitting, nannying, daycare work, or teaching roles.
  • Comfortable with pets (dogs).
  • You must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are paramount.
  • A heartfelt passion for children's wellbeing and growth.
  • Comfort with light cleaning tasks related to childcare environments.
  • Prior experience working with children with disabilities is a plus but not required; a compassionate approach is essential.
  • While CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, it is not required.

Pay: In joining our family, you'll become an integral part of our children's lives as they continue to flourish and explore the world. We offer a part-time schedule that includes afternoon - evening hours, and weekends as needed. Compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with mileage pay included, and the payout will be in cash, ensuring that your dedication and care are greatly appreciated and compensated accordingly.
