Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Match products with their respective packing slips to ensure accurate shipping and receiving.
  • Accurately weigh items before packaging them using appropriate packing materials and techniques.
  • Inspect produce and other items for defects or deviations from specifications to maintain product integrity.
  • Ensure that received stock is correctly stored in the designated area, and routinely rotate stock to prioritize older inventory for shipment.
  • Efficiently load products into packing line fridges and freezers, ensuring optimal storage conditions.
  • General Warehouse Duties: This includes but is not limited to cleaning and maintaining work areas, safely operating warehouse equipment, and assisting in inventory counts.
  • Work closely with other departments and team members to ensure efficient workflow and to address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, and report any unsafe conditions or potential hazards.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve packing processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of packed items, returned products, and any discrepancies or issues that arise during the packing process.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to work in refrigerator and freezer environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills for accurate weighing and measuring.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of packing equipment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
