Join our dynamic team as an Owner Operator specializing in sleeper trucks, delivering on Amazon’s dedicated lanes. This role offers the opportunity to operate long-haul routes with flexibility, independence, and the potential to earn significant income. You’ll be at the forefront of efficient freight transportation, ensuring timely deliveries across regional and national routes. We prioritize transparency and straightforward operations—no escrow required—so you can focus on driving and growing your business.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across assigned routes with a focus on efficiency and safety
  • Manage the loading and unloading of freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including hours of service and safety standards
  • Execute route driving with precision, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency
  • Handle various types of freight, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized loads as required
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness for each journey
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch to coordinate schedules, report issues, and confirm delivery details

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in tractor-trailer operations
  • Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and load management
  • Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and handling refrigerated trailers or flatbed loads
  • Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and delivery driver responsibilities
  • Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks when necessary
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to tanker or specialized freight transport
  • Strong understanding of trucking regulations and compliance standards
