Job Summary:
 
The Inventory Control & Order Management Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient order processing across the site. This position supports both operational and administrative functions, including inventory tracking, ERP system updates, and order fulfillment. The associate will collaborate closely with Sales, secure storage, and warehouse teams to maintain inventory integrity and ensure timely and accurate order execution.
This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and support the organization’s operational and financial goals.
 
Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy. 
Shift: Onsite; Day shift
Pay Range: CAD $22.00 to 25.00 per hour DOE.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using the ERP system
  • Process and manage customer and internal orders from entry to fulfillment
  • Reconcile and resolve PO/invoice discrepancies
  • Ensure 3-way match between Purchase Orders, Receiving, and Invoicing
  • Verify GL and account codes for POs and invoices
  • Generate and analyze inventory and order reports to support decision-making
  • Assist in reporting supplier compliance (on-time delivery, terms, contracts, specs)
  • Support documentation for product specification creation and revisions
  • Support supplier quality issues, including RTV and corrective actions
  • Close out Production Tickets (Blend, FG, Emulsion, Mighty Bites)
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Assist with inventory discrepancy adjustments and resolution
  • Verify all Sales Orders are closed by the end of week/month
  • Ensure timely communication and resolution of order-related issues
  • Assist in training and onboarding new team members in inventory and order processes
  • Support cross-functional teams and provide backup coverage when needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications and Education requirements:
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role within a growth-oriented environment 
  • High School Graduation Diploma
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Working experience in the Manufacturing industry preferred
  • Prior experience using an ERP(Acumatica) system preferred.
  • Strong computer skills in a Windows environment required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Solid organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable reconciling accounts and diving deep into the details to ensure accuracy
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and strategy based on defined corporate goals and initiatives.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments and key business partners.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
