The Oracle portion focuses on development, enhancements, and troubleshooting within the Financials suite, while the SAP portion centers on supporting SAP processes—especially SAP BDC, data validation, and financial workflows.</p><p>Additionally, this role contributes to cross‑platform AI initiatives and financial analytics, helping the organization leverage data insights, automation opportunities, and process optimization across ERP systems.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><p>Oracle EBS Development:</p><ul><li>Develop, support, and enhance Oracle E‑Business Suite Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, iProcurement, Fixed Assets).</li><li>Troubleshoot technical and data-related issues using PL/SQL and SQL tools.</li><li>Write functional and technical specifications based on business requirements.</li><li>Develop reports, forms, workflows, and integrations using Oracle tools (Reports, Forms, APEX, BI Publisher, ADF).</li><li>Collaborate with finance and business teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and support end users.</li><li>Prioritize tasks, manage project milestones, and drive development activities to completion.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>SAP Support & Enhancements </strong></p><ul><li>Provide day-to-day SAP support with emphasis on SAP BDC .</li><li>Build, test, and maintain SAP BDC scripts to support batch-input processes.</li><li>Troubleshoot SAP issues, perform root-cause analysis, and assist with configuration or master data validation.</li><li>Support functional teams across finance-related SAP processes and data flows.</li><li>Document SAP processes, support knowledge transfer, and provide user assistance as needed.</li><li>Additional Functions</li><li>Support development of AI-driven automation, machine learning insights, and predictive analytics for finance operations.</li><li>Develop dashboards, data models, and cross-system reporting integrating Oracle and SAP data.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, system upgrades, and cross-functional IT projects.</li><li>Assist in data governance, data quality review, and financial reporting accuracy initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially translating business needs into technical solutions.</li><li>Ability to organize workload, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a hybrid-tech environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience with Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, iProcurement, Fixed Assets).</li><li>Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL Plus, and writing SQL queries for troubleshooting.</li><li>Experience with Oracle development tools: Reports, Forms, APEX, BI Publisher, ADF.</li><li>Experience using TOAD for Oracle.</li><li>SAP experience including SAP BDC development and SAP finance processes.</li><li>Experience with AI/ML tools or financial analytics platforms (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Python, etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with retail financial systems and operational workflows.</li><li>Experience with Oracle WebCenter (WFR, SOA, Capture, IPM) is a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Working Conditions & Physical Demands</strong></p><p>This position requires in-person office presence at least 4x a week in Edison, NJ</p>
