<strong>About The Job<br><br></strong><strong> General Summary of Position<br><br></strong>Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.<br><br><strong>Primary Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.</li><li>Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications vaccines treatments and procedures in accordance with nursing standards.</li><li>Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment examination and testing of patients.</li><li>Observes records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians. Dispenses medication as directed. Documentation is complete accurate and legible.</li><li>Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in the collection of samples and tests.</li><li>Performs patient telephone triage assesses needs and coordinates needs with medical staff. Monitors phone notes entered to assure timely response to all calls and appropriate resolution of the patients' needs.</li><li>Triages walk-in patients and provides them with guidance determining the most appropriate course of action for the patient to take regarding obtaining an appointment in the clinic referral to another facility or home care advice.
