Need Business Analyst - Varicent ICM, ELT & Advanced Reporting- Remote

Job Title: Business Analyst Varicent ICM, ELT & Advanced Reporting Location: Remote Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong expertise in Varicent ICM, data analysis, ELT processes, and SAP BusinessObjects/advanced reporting. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams, translating compensation and performance requirements into scalable, data-driven incentive compensation and reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities: Varicent ICM & Incentive Compensation • Analyze, design, and implement Varicent ICM compensation plans aligned with business objectives. • Gather and document business requirements for incentive plans, crediting rules, quotas, and payout logic. • Configure and optimize Varicent modules including calculation engine, workflows, dashboards, and reporting. • Support compensation plan testing, validation, and production rollouts. • Troubleshoot calculation and data issues, ensuring accuracy and auditability. Business & Data Analysis • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, compensation teams, finance, and IT. • Perform data analysis to validate compensation results, identify trends, and support decision-making. • Develop functional and technical documentation including BRDs, FRDs, and process flows. • Provide insights and recommendations to improve compensation effectiveness and operational efficiency. ELT / Data Integration • Design and support ELT pipelines to load and transform data from source systems (CRM, ERP, HR, etc.) into Varicent and reporting platforms. • Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and consistency across systems. • Collaborate with data engineering teams on data modeling and performance optimization. Reporting & Analytics • Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Universe Designer, Crystal Reports). • Create executive-level and operational reporting for compensation performance, attainment, and payouts. • Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests from business users. • Ensure reporting aligns with governance, security, and compliance standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong hands-on experience with Varicent ICM (configuration, calculations, reporting). • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in compensation or performance management domains. • Advanced expertise in SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Universes, Crystal Reports). • Solid understanding of ELT concepts, data warehousing, and relational databases. • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation. • Experience working with CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP). • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to business users. Preferred Qualifications: • Varicent certification or equivalent hands-on implementation experience. • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, etc.). • Knowledge of sales compensation best practices and financial controls. • Experience in Agile or SAFe environments.
