Citibank, N.A. seeks a Model/ Analysis / Validation Officer for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Develop, enhance, and validate the methods of measuring and analyzing Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR). Identify relevant data sources and variables related to PPNR. Conduct statistical analysis for PPNR and data modeling and validation to provide support in the model methodology enhancement and documentation of stress testing. Perform back testing and stress testing to validate accurate and robustness of models. Apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and programming language to extract, transform, and analyze data. Analyze and interpret data reports, and make recommendations that address business needs. Define and recommend model specifications and data collection methods. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and relationships within data, which involves using visualization techniques to identify correlations, outliers, and trends in data using programming languages, including SAS, Python and R. Apply machine-learning algorithms to extract insight and make data predictions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Quantitative Economics, or related field and 1 year of experience as a Model/Analysis/Validation Senior Analyst, Quantitative Analyst, or a related position involving model performance analysis, validation, and development for a global financial services institution. 1 year of experience must include: Development, enhancement and validation of econometric and statistical models; Testing performance of statistical models to improve performance and predictive accuracy; Scenario analysis of models and performance assessment under varying macroeconomic scenarios prescribed by regulators; Coding models and analytical tools using SAS, R and Python; and Extracting, transforming and analyzing data by applying quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods, including data wrangling, exploratory data analysis and machine-learning algorithms.
