In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and handling materials to keep our grocery store stocked, orderly, and running efficiently behind the scenes.<br><br><ul><li>Unload delivery trucks using manual or powered equipment.</li><li>Inspect and verify incoming shipments.</li><li>Sort, label, and stage stock.</li><li>Safely and efficiently move inventory to the appropriate departments.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving and backroom areas.</li><li>Dispose of packaging and recycle materials as needed.</li><li>Assist other departments with stock replenishment.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and lift like a pro.<br><br></li></ul><strong>A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Receiver and Material Handler: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Start the day: Trucks arrive with fresh goods, and you jump in to unload them using pallet jacks and hand trucks—handling produce, dairy, dry goods, and more.</li><li>Check everything: You read labels, count items, and double-check that deliveries match the invoices.
