About the position We are looking for a Contract Marketing Automation Engineer / CRM Technical Specialist to support our email and CRM initiatives by building and maintaining the technical foundations that enable dynamic, personalized communications. This role partners closely with our Email / CRM lead to power advanced personalization use cases, including dynamic daily emails, real-time data integrations, and journey automation within Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). This is a hands-on, technical role focused on automation, integrations, and data orchestration — not creative execution or campaign strategy. Responsibilities • Build and maintain API integrations and webhooks that connect external data sources to Adobe Journey Optimizer • Configure and support custom actions, data flows, and real-time personalization logic within AJO • Translate personalization and lifecycle requirements into technical solutions that scale • Support dynamic email and journey use cases using external APIs, structured data, and decisioning logic • Serve as the technical CRM owner supporting lifecycle and email programs, operating as a Marketing Automation Engineer and CRM Technical Specialist • Partner with marketing, product, and analytics teams to align data availability with campaign needs • Troubleshoot and resolve data, automation, or delivery issues impacting CRM programs • Document technical implementations and provide guidance to non-technical stakeholders Requirements • Experience operating in a Marketing Automation Engineer or CRM Technical Specialist role • Hands-on experience with marketing automation or CRM platforms (Adobe Journey Optimizer preferred; Salesforce, Braze, or similar acceptable) • Strong working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, and data schemas • Experience supporting email personalization, lifecycle journeys, or automation frameworks • Ability to work comfortably between technical and marketing teams • Clear communication skills and comfort explaining technical concepts in plain language Nice-to-haves • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) datasets and profiles • Familiarity with decisioning logic, real-time personalization, or headless content delivery • Prior experience supporting dynamic or content-driven email programs Apply tot his job
